Watchpost: Uptime Monitor — what we collect, why, and how it's handled.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies only to Watchpost: Uptime Monitor, an Android app. It does not cover other products or services on this domain.
2. What we collect
Watchpost does not collect or transmit any personal data. The information you add to the app — server addresses, website URLs, API endpoints, ports, and check intervals — is limited to public, internet-accessible endpoints you choose to monitor. It is not personal information.
3. Where your data lives
All of it stays on your device. Watchpost has no backend server and does not send your monitored servers, websites, or API endpoints anywhere. Uptime checks are performed directly from your device to the endpoints you've configured.
4. Notifications
Watchpost can alert you when a monitored endpoint goes down. These alerts are generated locally while the app is active and do not rely on a push notification service, so no device token or identifier is registered with us or any third party.
5. What we do not collect
- Email address, phone number, or real name
- Location data
- Payment or financial information
- Google credentials or social login data
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics or crash reporting data
6. Third parties
Watchpost does not share data with third parties because it does not collect or transmit any data off your device.
7. Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app removes all monitored endpoints and settings, since everything is stored locally. You can also remove individual monitors from within the app at any time.
8. Children
Watchpost is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
